Protection & Controls Engineer

📋 Description

• Design protection and control schemes for large electrical infra.
• Own settings from interconnection to facility buses, including data halls loads.
• Commission protection systems and perform end-to-end tests with industry test sets.
• Collaborate with field technicians during outages and commissioning.
• Travel up to 25% to support sites and witness testing.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or related field.
• 3+ years in protection and controls on MV/HV systems.
• Hands-on with SEL relays and software (AcSELerator QuickSet, synchroWAVe).
• Experience with ETAP, CAPE, SKM, or EasyPower; relay logic and settings management.
• Knowledge of DNP3, Modbus, IEC 61850, IEEE C37.102/91/234, and NERC PRC standards.
