Assistant General Counsel, M&A

📋 Description

• Hybrid role based in NYC or Boston; in-person Tuesdays–Fridays with remote option Mondays.
• Provide elite transactional guidance for M&A, securities, and corporate governance; coordinate
• Manage outside counsel and lead key corporate initiatives to align with legal requirements and
• Collaborate with Corporate Development, Strategy, and SEC/Financial Reporting teams; advise on
• Draft and negotiate transaction documents ensuring compliance and protection of Axon’s interests.
• Support post-merger integration from a legal perspective.

🎯 Requirements

• J.D. from an accredited institution with outstanding academics
• Bar admission in a U.S. state
• Minimum 5-7 years at a top-tier law firm; in-house a plus
• Expertise in M&A, securities law, and corporate governance
• Experience handling complex transactions, preferably in tech or financial services
• Strong writing, analytical, negotiation, communication, and presentation skills
