Engineering Manager - Defense Systems

📋 Description

• Lead a team of 8-12 Forward Deployed Engineers in defense-focused projects
• Own end-to-end execution, hire and develop engineers, set technical direction
• Represent Applied Intuition with defense and government customers
• Review architectures, pressure-test integration, and drive programs to completion
• Balance software, hardware, and operations to deliver high-quality outcomes

🎯 Requirements

• Production grade SW experience with deployments to active customers
• Exceptional customer-facing skills
• A proven mentor and leader of engineering talent
• Strong engineering background (Computer/ Electrical Engineering, CS)
• Broad technical experience across software, OS, and some hardware
• Experience supporting integration and deployment of complex systems
