Staff Quality Engineer - Exploratory Test Lead

📋 Description

• Embedded in Bestow Innovation Lab (R&D) to shape verification for AI-enabled development.
• Work with domain experts, product engineering, Platform Engineers, TPM, Compliance, and QE teams.
• Focus on testing through exploration, risk analysis, and chartered testing sessions.
• Balance testing, specification engagement, tooling/AI under test, coaching, and risk-based decision
• Report findings across bugs, risks, questions, and obstacles to testing; maintain coverage maps.

🎯 Requirements

• 10+ years of demonstrated experience with progressive responsibility in software testing and test
• Serious tester who investigates products, not just verifies them; ability to teach and advocate
• Fluent in craft vocabulary: modeling, heuristics, charters, note-taking, test framing, safety
• Strong risk-analysis depth; able to craft plausible failure stories and explain reasoning to teams.
• Experience with decision logic and configuration-driven behavior: rules engines, underwriting
• Proven track record of finding gaps that green suites miss; capable of building organizational
