Senior Software Engineer, Backend

📋 Description

• Build and maintain services and APIs powering the platform.
• Own backend systems end-to-end from design to on-call.
• Address performance and reliability as usage grows.
• Design with security in mind from the start.
• Build data models and pipelines for actionable insights.
• Mentor engineers and participate in reviews and calibration.

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years backend engineering experience.
• APIs, data modeling, distributed systems, event-driven.
• Proficient in Java, Node.js, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, AWS.
• Experience with Terraform and container deployments.
• Operational scaling experience with live systems.
• Strong communication of tech tradeoffs to teams.
