Automation Technician IV (Onsite)

📋 Description

• Senior escalation resource for Asset Reliability; leads 5-Why and 8D investigations
• Drives chronic-loss/OEE improvement funnel; mentors Automation & AR Technicians
• Supports escalated production issues; ensures fixes are permanent and lessons reusable
• Contributes to PM, CMMS, and spare-parts standards; drives continuous improvement

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years in electronics automation manufacturing; strong escalated troubleshooting
• Advanced knowledge: electromechanical, vision, PLC, and controls/MES-adjacent systems
• Experience owning 8D investigations and cross-functional corrective action; 5-Why root-cause
• Experience building/managing an OEE improvement funnel using downtime Pareto, MTBF/MTTR, scrap data
• Ability to convert lessons learned into PM changes, spare-parts strategy input, and standard work
• Experience mentoring technicians and contributing to a skills matrix
