System Mechanical Design Engineer

📋 Description

• Design, test, analyze, integrate, qualify and document hardware of moderate to high complexity in a
• Ensure proper packaging of optical, electrical and related components for optimal thermal
• Mechanical design from CAD/drawings to BOM and work instructions.
• Understand requirements and timelines, identify gaps, and drive to closure with stakeholders.
• Lead design reviews, manage feedback and change requests.
• Scale from prototype to high-volume production with external CM partners.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
• 5+ years in system mechanical design with multiple product releases
• Proficient in SolidWorks or equivalent 3D CAD
• Familiar with thermal and structural testing/analysis
• Experience with ANSYS or similar tools
• Strong heat transfer, materials selection, and vibration design knowledge
