Staff Web Engineer

📋 Description

• Own architecture of Harvey's web platform end to end — Next.js/Vercel, Sanity content layer
• Design data foundations and integration patterns to connect marketing, analytics, CRM, and GTM
• Establish automation, CI/CD, preview/deploy tooling, and robust testing
• Set observability standards: logging, tracing, Core Web Vitals, performance budgets
• Lead applying AI/ML to web workflows; bridge product and web engineering
• Partner with Security and Infra to harden platform without slowing devs

🎯 Requirements

• 8+ years of Web Development with backend and systems expertise
• Strong command of React/Next.js, TypeScript, SSR; backend depth (Node/Python)
• Experience with headless CMS platforms (Sanity, Contentful)
• Proven CI/CD, infrastructure-as-code, observability tooling
• Fluency in data infra fundamentals: SQL/NoSQL, caching, queues, API/webhook patterns
• Experience integrating AI/ML into production web experiences
