📋 Description
- Contribute to core performance engineering initiatives from development to production with
- Design and implement architectural and code-level performance improvements for Elasticsearch.
- Develop foundational performance models and methodologies for distributed systems.
- Profile and analyze system behavior to identify bottlenecks in logging, metrics, vector search, and
- Support optimization strategies for performance, predictability, and scalability across
- Collaborate across teams to apply performance-focused practices to new features and automation
🎯 Requirements
- Deep knowledge of Java internals and JVM memory management; ability to write high-performance
- Proven experience profiling and optimizing distributed systems; experience with benchmarking tools
- Solid understanding of distributed systems architecture, partition tolerance, and scaling large
- Experience using AI or advanced tooling to accelerate optimization and automate benchmarking
- Strong collaboration skills to work across teams and drive distributed-team decisions with
