📋 Description
- Lead firmware development for resource-constrained devices from hardware selection to production
- Partner with electrical engineers to evaluate SoCs, memory, sensors, and bring new boards to life.
- Develop and maintain low-level firmware including drivers, bootloaders, device management, updates
- Bring up new hardware by configuring I/O and validating SPI, I2C, UART, BLE, CAN, and ADC
- Design power-efficient architectures for battery-powered devices.
- Build systems for collecting and transmitting sensor data across large fleets.
🎯 Requirements
- 8+ years of firmware development for resource-constrained embedded systems.
- Strong proficiency in C and low-level system debugging.
- Significant experience with bare-metal and RTOS like Zephyr or FreeRTOS.
- Proven ability to bring up hardware and diagnose first-power-on issues with EE teams.
- Strong understanding of SPI, I2C, UART, CAN, and ADC.
- Hardware-debugging experience with oscilloscopes, network analyzers, RF spectrum analyzers.
