ML Research Engineer / Scientist

📋 Description

• Design, develop, train, and evaluate ML models for interpreting CT studies at study level.
• Research foundation-model approaches for medical imaging (3D/volumetric).
• Develop vision-language models connecting medical images with radiology reporting.
• Identify multiple urgent clinical findings with safe operating points.
• Design experiments end to end: hypothesis, architecture, training, evaluation, analysis.
• Develop custom architectures, training pipelines, losses, and distributed training.

🎯 Requirements

• Strong practical experience with modern ML/DL, esp. PyTorch for custom architectures and
• Deep understanding of why architectures/objectives/optimizers work, not just implementations.
• Ability to formulate hypotheses, design experiments, and iterate toward better models.
• Rigorous experimentation, evaluation, reproducibility, and model validation.
• Experience with large-scale datasets and distributed training is valuable.
• Interest in solving technically challenging problems with real-world impact.
