Director, Environmental Health and Safety

📋 Description

• This role provides strategic leadership for EHS performance, compliance, and risk management
• Partner with senior leaders to integrate EHS into business strategy and daily activities.
• Build capability by mentoring site and above-site EHS professionals; lead a global team.
• Staff, mentor, and ensure compliance across manufacturing sites and supported locations.
• Develop programs and systems to prevent catastrophic safety and environmental events.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor of Science in engineering, environmental, occupational safety, or industrial hygiene
• 15 years EHS experience with at least 10 years supervisory/managerial experience.
• Extensive technical EHS expertise; international experience and ability to travel globally.
• Experience leading staff of senior-level EHS professionals (min 5 years).
• Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
• Budget/financial management experience.
