📋 Description
- Manage the property tax compliance cycle for complex personal property and centrally assessed
- Prepare complex state and local property tax returns and supporting workpapers using Microsoft
- Prepare and support utility, power generation, unitary, and multi-state property tax filings
- Reconcile property tax returns with fixed asset systems and, where applicable, regulatory filings
- Research and interpret state and local property tax laws, regulations, rules, and utility-specific
- Monitor assessment notices, tax bills, filing requirements, and jurisdictional deadlines to ensure
🎯 Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related field.
- 3–5 years of professional property tax experience, preferably involving complex or centrally
- Experience supporting utility, power generation, energy, or other centrally assessed property
- Demonstrated experience with multi-state property tax filings and complex apportionment
- Proficiency with property tax software such as PTMS, OneSource, PowerPlan, or similar platforms.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and the ability to work confidently with detailed financial, asset
