Senior AI Engineer

📋 Description

• Design and ship AI agent systems end to end, from experiments to production, including data access
• Integrate with Kota infrastructure (Metabase, internal APIs) and ensure robust evaluation
• Set technical direction for AI at Kota and influence agent architecture decisions
• Collaborate across the AI pod and Platform team to surface new AI opportunities
• Expand the role as the early pod evolves with the team

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years software engineering experience, 2+ years with LLM/AI agents in production
• Strong grasp of agent architecture: context management, tool use, retrieval, prompt design
• Experience building evaluation frameworks: golden datasets, regression tests, retrieval vs
• Comfort across the full stack and clear written communication
