Senior Forensic Developer

📋 Description

• Design and build specialized forensic software powering federal investigations.
• Collaborate with forensic SMEs, crypto engineers, and software developers.
• Architect capabilities at the OS level: file systems, memory, binaries, automated workflows.
• Ensure tools meet evidentiary standards and integrate into mission platforms.
• Provide solutions for digital-evidence analysis and cyber-investigative success.
• Work mostly remote with occasional on-site visits to DC/Northern Virginia.

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years in software development focused on digital forensics or investigative tooling.
• Bachelor’s in CS, Software Eng, Cybersecurity, or related field.
• Experience building enterprise-grade forensic applications meeting evidentiary requirements.
• Strong knowledge of OS internals, reverse engineering, binary analysis, scripting/automation.
• Experience with forensic platforms like EnCase, AXIOM, X-Ways, Cellebrite.
• Clear communication skills; strong attention to detail.
