Data Center Engineer

📋 Description

• Oversee lifecycle of physical servers, network devices, and IT infrastructure
• Install, configure, and maintain server/network components in data centers
• Plan rack layouts, cabling schemes, and patching schedules
• Diagnose hardware issues; coordinate with vendors for repairs/RMA
• Manage hardware shipments and inventory; ensure accuracy
• Document infrastructure, cabling, rack configs, and processes

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years in data center engineering
• Strong knowledge of servers, network devices, and storage systems
• Experience with fiber optics, cabling, transceivers; fiber testing/cleaning
• Basic Linux knowledge and networking protocols
• CCNA is a plus
• Racking, cabling, and data center facilities mgmt tools experience
