Energy Origination  Hedging Manager

📋 Description

• Originate energy agreements and lead PPAs and energy contracts
• Build investment cases with LCOE, NPV, IRR analyses
• Own hedging strategy to de-risk GPU financing
• Structure instruments across fixed-price contracts, swaps, options
• Manage demand charge risk and tariff/market dynamics
• Forecast energy costs at site acquisition

🎯 Requirements

• Experience in energy origination, commodity/power trading, or utility-scale power markets
• Analytical rigor: build and test LCOE, NPV, IRR models
• Hedging experience with power and gas hedges (swaps, NYMEX/OTC)
• Strong negotiation and communication skills for senior leadership
• Nice to have: data center power procurement experience; RTO/ISO familiarity
