Engineering Manager

📋 Description

• Lead a team of engineers with 1:1s, career mapping, and performance coaching.
• Own and refine the technical development process to reduce toil and cognitive load.
• Champion high-quality practices, including TDD, AI-augmented development, and documentation-as-code.
• Foster mentorship through code reviews and design discussions to improve team velocity.
• Drive internal initiatives like tech debt reduction, architectural refactors, and API
• Stay close to the metal through architecture reviews and coaching on performance and code quality.

🎯 Requirements

• 3+ years leading engineering teams with a focus on psychological safety and technical growth.
• Backend engineering foundation in Java or Golang; experience with microservice architecture, API
• Experience implementing engineering standards and workflows that increase velocity without
• Strong collaboration with Product and Program teams to turn complex challenges into valuable
• Ability to balance feature demands with engineering-first needs of a healthy codebase.
