📋 Description
- Provide end-to-end product legal counsel for payroll and AI-enabled products, incl.
- Partner with Product, Engineering, Payroll, Privacy, Security, and Commercial Legal teams across
- Advise on product terms, data use, IP ownership, and transparency requirements.
- Monitor AI, tech, employment, data protection, and payroll regulations across jurisdictions.
- Support compliance with EU AI Act, UK AI rules, US developments, GDPR, and CCPA.
- Collaborate with Privacy/Security on DPIAs, TIAs, vendor diligence for AI/LLMs.
🎯 Requirements
- Qualified lawyer with substantial tech product experience across jurisdictions.
- Proven product counsel in HR/payroll tech (PEO, EOR, HRIS).
- Experience advising on complex products at scale across multiple jurisdictions.
- Deep knowledge of AI regulation and data protection, incl. EU/UK/US/Canada frameworks.
- Strong understanding of AI, data protection, employment law and payroll compliance.
- In-house experience welcome; startup/fast-paced environment a plus.
