Senior Software Engineer (YDB Team)

📋 Description

• Develop and optimize YDB components for modern hardware, including NVMe storage and high-bandwidth
• Improve performance across storage technologies (HDDs, NVMe TLC).
• Reengineer systems with efficient algorithms for scalability and reliability.
• Design high-performance, low-latency components for production systems.
• Analyze system behavior; identify bottlenecks with profiling and debugging.
• Work on distributed storage and database infrastructure for AI and cloud workloads.

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years of professional C/C++ in high-load, performance-critical systems.
• Strong understanding of CPU caches, atomic operations, and NUMA.
• Proven experience in high-performance, low-latency software.
• Ability to investigate complex production issues using core dumps, flame graphs, sanitized builds.
• Strong systems programming and performance optimization skills; bottleneck diagnosis.
• Experience with on-disk data structures (LSM trees, B+ trees) is a plus.
