Payroll Manager

📋 Description

• Lead monthly UK payroll for 1,200+ colleagues across four entities
• Own and optimize the monthly payroll process with HiBob
• Sign off outputs and variances to ensure accuracy and timeliness
• Collaborate with Finance, People & Culture, Internal Controls, and external partners
• Maintain strong payroll controls and compliance with UK requirements
• Coach payroll team and drive process improvements

🎯 Requirements

• Experience owning end-to-end payroll operations
• Strong knowledge of UK payroll legislation and tax rules
• Familiarity with HiBob and external payroll providers
• Excel skills: intermediate to advanced (VLOOKUP, pivot)
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication
• Payroll qualification (CIPP) helpful but not essential
