Software Engineer (26-362)

📋 Description

• Develop software updates for simulation and training systems using C++ and AFSIM.
• Support and maintain existing Java-based software components.
• Develop new simulation entities and extend frameworks for new behaviors.
• Analyze and provide technical support for software products, incl. design, development, testing
• Maintain, debug, and configure software products.
• Collaborate with other teams to resolve issues and improve efficiency.

🎯 Requirements

• 3+ years of related experience; degree or training in related discipline.
• Experience with simulation frameworks for test/training use cases.
• Strong engineering with C++/AFSIM, including plugins for high-performance, real-time sim.
• Strong Java engineering experience.
• Experience with Spring-based apps using XML (no Spring Boot).
• Knowledge of software dev practices, coding standards, and CM.
