Controls and Automation Engineer II

📋 Description

• Develop and maintain data acquisition and controls stack for test teams at Long Beach site.
• Design and own complex control systems for space-rated hardware (hardware and software).
• Collaborate with software, thermal, manufacturing, propulsion, ECLSS, and mechanical test teams.
• Troubleshoot and debug test assets to ensure optimal test system performance.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor of Science in mechanical or electrical engineering or related field.
• 3+ years with PLCs or embedded systems.
• Experience supporting wiring, electrical diagrams, signal processing.
• 2+ years TwinCat programming and Beckhoff hardware.
• 2+ years testing, troubleshooting, debugging mechanical/electrical/software issues.
• Proficient in Python, C#, C++, JavaScript, ST, etc.
