Sr. Developer Advocate, AI and Machine Learning

📋 Description

• Be the voice of Databricks in the Bay Area AI community.
• Engage with AI engineers and data scientists at meetups and events.
• Translate customer insights into production-ready demos and reference implementations.
• Build relationships with practitioners and feed learnings back to product/engineering.
• Deliver talks, host panels, create blogs, videos, and courseware.
• Develop starter kits and demos to show how to build, evaluate, and govern agents on Databricks.

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years in developer advocacy or hands-on software/ML roles.
• Experience building and operating AI/ML systems; not just presenting.
• Expertise in agent design, evaluation, and production operations.
• Strong knowledge of Databricks AI ecosystem: Genie Agents, Genie, MLflow, Unity AI Gateway.
• Strong Python skills; familiarity with current AI tooling.
• Based in the Bay Area; willing to engage in community events evenings/weekends.
