Job Description
📋 Description
- Provide direct support to individuals with intensive behavioral and mental-health needs.
- Support individuals per behavior plans, treatment plans, crisis-prevention, de-escalation.
- Maintain a clean, safe living environment; assist with daily living skills and community engagement.
- Document services and observations using electronic systems (T-logs, Therap, health tracking).
- Monitor behavior changes and communicate with supervisors during crises.
- Participate in team meetings and training new staff; model professional behavior.
🎯 Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- 3 years experience with severe mental illness or related degree
- Must be 18+ (21+ in some programs)
- Valid driver’s license and auto insurance
- Basic computer skills and electronic documentation
- Lift up to 50 lbs and stand/walk long periods
