PREP Welder - Day Shift

📋 Description

• Welds components in flat positions and fuses metal parts using gas metal arc process
• Operates welding equipment and hand tools per blueprints and layout specs
• Positions, aligns, and welds parts to form complete structures
• Examines steel/workpieces to ensure specifications are met
• Moves parts into position using hoists/cranes
• Cleans welds with grinders and related equipment

🎯 Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
• Ability to interpret blueprints
• Ability to read a tape measure
• Welding certification or prior welding experience preferred (GMAW)
• Certifications/experience with moving machinery (cranes) preferred
• Must pass a site weld test
