📋 Description

• Lead complex corporate matters and drive initiatives across Canva's legal team
• Oversee corporate securities, M&A, and global expansion efforts
• Advise board and leadership on governance and capital matters
• Manage equity programs, cap table mechanics, and subsidiary records
• Collaborate with global entities team and external counsel
• Mentor attorneys and promote AI-enabled, efficient workflows

🎯 Requirements

• 8+ years corporate legal experience in tech
• Experience leading corporate transactions, cross-border a plus
• JD from accredited law school; active U.S. state bar
• Strong collaboration, communication, and strategic judgment
• Proven ability to operate across multiple jurisdictions
• Proficiency with G Suite, Slack, Word, Excel; board portals a plus
