Staff Software Engineer- UI Foundations Team

📋 Description

• Own frontend infrastructure for Amplitude's frontend platform
• Drive architectural decisions and performance improvements
• Lead build-out of autonomous, AI-agent driven engineering workflows
• Set technical direction for the frontend org and mentor staff engineers
• Collaborate with product, design systems, and infra teams
• Focus on developer velocity and scalable frontend foundations

🎯 Requirements

• Real-world software engineering at Staff level or equivalent
• Deep expertise in modern frontend architecture (React or similar)
• Strong infrastructure/system engineering instincts (build tooling, CI/CD, dev environments)
• Experience improving frontend performance at scale
• Experience designing/shipping internal developer tooling or platform infra
• Hands-on experience with AI-agent driven workflows or a clear point of view on them
