📋 Description
- Perform manual and exploratory testing of an interactive, web-based weather visualization platform.
- Verify radar displays, map layers, storm patterns, and other weather visualizations for accuracy.
- Participate in live testing during significant weather events when required.
- Identify, investigate, document, and communicate bugs and anomalies clearly.
- Collaborate with developers to reproduce issues, validate fixes, and improve quality and usability.
- Evaluate platform from end-user perspective and suggest weather-informed enhancments.
🎯 Requirements
- Current student in meteorology, climatology, environmental sciences, or related weather discipline
- Deep understanding of weather concepts, radar maps, forecasting models, storm tracking, and data
- Regular user of weather apps/visualization tools/data sources.
- Strong English communication and documentation skills for describing bugs clearly.
- Comfortable navigating web applications and testing across multiple browsers/devices.
- Familiarity with QA concepts like exploratory and regression testing is a plus.
