Design Engineer

📋 Description

• Build production-quality components and interactions across WorkOS products
• Prototype concepts, build new products, and experiment with new interaction patterns
• Raise the quality of WorkDS by improving performance, state, accessibility, and interaction
• Work alongside product teams to test ideas with customers
• Share work in progress openly to accelerate learning
• Improve design system contributions and agent instructions

🎯 Requirements

• Strong eye for design details and craft
• Ability to articulate design decisions and tradeoffs
• Handle real-world edge cases, accessibility, and technical constraints
• Comfortable in code as in Figma/Paper; eager to explore new tools
• Experience with AI-first workflows and sharing workflows with teams
• Proactive in identifying and closing design gaps
