Regulated Messaging Engineer

📋 Description

• Maintain and enhance messaging transport services (SMTP) for regulated communications.
• Administer Windows Server, IIS, and enterprise infrastructure supporting messaging workflows.
• Develop Python-based automation and tooling to improve efficiency.
• Design and manage messaging retention and archival solutions for compliance.
• Configure Proofpoint Enterprise Archive and retention capabilities.
• Lead complex migrations with focus on security, compliance, and reliability.

🎯 Requirements

• Strong engineering and architecture experience with Windows-based SMTP forwarding and archiving.
• Hands-on IIS SMTP forwarding configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
• Practical experience with email retention, archiving, or vaulting platforms.
• Experience administering Proofpoint Enterprise Archive; other Proofpoint products are a plus.
• Strong Python skills for automation and integrations.
• Experience with Microsoft SQL Server and relational databases.
