Senior Fire Engineer

📋 Description

• Lead projects and provide technical leadership in fire safety across NZ.
• Engage with clients, project teams and technical specialists to develop practical solutions.
• Participate in site visits, inspections and construction-related activities.
• Help grow Jensen Hughes’ profile and client relationships in New Zealand.
• Mentor developing engineers and contribute to a collaborative, innovative culture.
• Influence project outcomes through creative, safe and compliant fire engineering solutions.

🎯 Requirements

• New Zealand Citizenship or Permanent Residency.
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Structural, Civil or related engineering discipline.
• Experience in Fire Engineering or Fire Safety Compliance; Masters in Fire Engineering preferred.
• Strong knowledge of the New Zealand Building Code and fire safety Standards.
• Experience delivering fire engineering solutions to complex problems; strong communication skills.
• Ability to build client relationships and mentor engineers.
