Data Engineer, Event Data

📋 Description

• Design, build, and maintain event streaming pipelines ingesting data from client systems and
• Develop analytic databases and data models for high-volume event data with low latency
• Write production Elixir and Python services for event processing, transformation, and routing
• Integrate legacy event pipelines with modern streaming infra and migration paths
• Build monitoring, alerting, observability tooling for data systems
• Collaborate with data platform, product engineering, and analytics teams to deliver data products

🎯 Requirements

• Proficiency in Elixir and/or Python for data services and connectors
• Advanced SQL skills for modeling and analytics
• Production experience with columnar/OLAP databases
• Experience with stream processing and brokers: Kafka, Flink, Kinesis
• Experience with Infrastructure-as-Code tools (Terraform, CloudFormation)
• AWS experience; GCP a plus
