📋 Description
- Operate CNC machines, lathes, milling machines, grinders, and other machinery to fabricate metal
- Set up machines per job specs, select tools, load materials, adjust settings.
- Inspect finished parts to meet quality standards; adjust settings to maintain accuracy.
- Perform routine maintenance to ensure optimal machinery performance.
- Follow safety protocols; report hazards to management.
- Collaborate with production team to prioritize tasks and optimize processes.
🎯 Requirements
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent; vocational machining cert preferred.
- Experience operating CNC machines; familiarity with blueprints/schematics and precision tools
- Proficiency with CNC machines, lathes, and related metalworking equipment.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
- Attention to detail; ability to read engineering drawings and specifications.
- Good communication and teamwork; basic computer skills for programming/data entry.
