📋 Description

• Lead and operationalize GitLab's Internal Audit methodology, including responsible use of
• Plan and lead risk-based operational audits addressing strategic, business, compliance, and
• Manage a distributed team with clear milestones and outcomes.
• Facilitate enterprise risk management activities and bring risk awareness into strategic decisions.
• Partner with business leaders to prioritize audit work and support effective risk mitigation.
• Oversee the SOX testing program and support ongoing SOX compliance.

🎯 Requirements

• Experience leading internal audit work and managing a portfolio of audits.
• Expertise in audit and enterprise risk management, controls, root cause analysis, and audit
• Experience building and leading distributed teams with clear priorities and outcomes.
• Ability to assess audit scope and quality with a risk-based, business-focused lens and deliver
• Strong communication skills with senior stakeholders and functional leaders.
• Strong resource planning, prioritization, and problem-solving across audits/projects; data/tools
