Staff Mechanical Engineer - Advanced Energy

📋 Description

• Work in cross-functional teams on product performance, reliability and capacity
• Address supply chain challenges and cost reduction opportunities
• Contribute to development of new Advanced Energy instruments
• Investigate, design and implement product improvements and cost reductions

🎯 Requirements

• Minimum 12 years exp with Bachelor's or 8+ yrs with MS or PhD + exp
• Strong mechanical design and analytical skills
• Experience with high-volume manufacturing (injection molding, MIM, stamping, extrusion, machining)
• Materials knowledge (metals and plastics) and material properties
• 3D CAD proficiency (SolidWorks preferred) and GD&T
• Design for Manufacturing & Assembly, reliability focus, root cause analysis
