- Lead the hardware engineering org across opto-mechanical, structural, thermal, and avionics.
- Own design margin discipline against design standards across budgets (thermal, structural

- Develop hardware engineering managers who can run domains independently while you guide key

🎯 Requirements
- Twelve-plus years in precision spaceflight hardware.
- Hands-on depth in opto-mechanical engineering, structural dynamics, or precision pointing systems.
- Track record of design margin discipline against NASA, MIL, or equivalent standards.
- Cross-disciplinary system reasoning: budgets across optics, structures, thermal, GNC, mass, and
- Experience leading hardware through environmental test campaigns and anomaly resolution.
- Make-vs-buy decisions you have owned with cost, schedule, and capability data.
