📋 Description
- Lead development of digital pathology AI models using whole-slide imaging data to predict clinical
- Adapt state-of-the-art open-source AI foundation models to internal datasets and collaborator
- Identify data sources and lead efforts to obtain high-quality annotations and datasets for ML
- Break down complex data science challenges into actionable projects; mentor junior team members
- Partner with internal/external stakeholders to translate clinical/business requirements into
- Collaborate with bioinformatics, statistics, medical experts, and other teams to document projects
🎯 Requirements
- PhD in Data Science, Machine Learning, Applied Mathematics, or closely related quantitative field.
- 8+ years in data science, ML, or related role in a disease-related field; oncology experience
- Expert Python for AI/ML development in CV/digital pathology including data prep.
- Strong statistical analysis: survival modeling, hypothesis testing, multivariate regression with
- Experience with cloud computing; AWS preferred.
- Ability to communicate complex AI concepts to technical and non-technical audiences.
