Engineering Manager II - Monetisation

📋 Description

• Own architecture and scaling for monetisation platform
• Guarantee financial correctness as a system property
• Oversee fraud, abuse and spend-control layer
• Hands-on with NestJS, Firestore, MongoDB, PostgreSQL, Redis, queues, data warehousing, service mesh
• Lead reliable, low-latency, high-throughput APIs/workflows
• Drive observability with monitoring/alerting and incident response

🎯 Requirements

• 9+ years backend exp with 2+ years leadership, fault-tolerant systems on high-scale platforms
• Deep expertise in distributed systems, event-driven architectures, async processing
• Ownership of systems with strict consistency for billing/payments/ledgers
• Proven availability, performance and reliability under load
• Strong relational and NoSQL data modeling for complex transactional data
• Experience leading senior engineers and earning trust
