Configuration Management Specialist: Senior

📋 Description

• Lead or supervise a team of configuration management specialists, providing technical direction
• Establish, maintain, and control configuration baselines throughout the lifecycle of complex
• Facilitate and advise Configuration Control Boards (CCBs), supporting evaluation and authorization
• Review engineering change requests and assess impact on baselines, components, and logistics.
• Maintain accurate configuration control records and documentation.
• Prepare directives for approval and implementation of changes.

🎯 Requirements

• Demonstrated experience leading configuration management teams.
• Proven experience managing baselines for complex information systems (hardware & software).
• Strong understanding of baseline control and lifecycle CM.
• Experience facilitating or advising Configuration Control Boards and evaluating change requests.
• Ability to assess effects of changes on baselines and logistics.
• Experience maintaining CM records and change authorization materials.
