Senior Data Scientist - AI/ML & Anomaly Detection Lead

📋 Description

• Lead modernization of an 11-rule PoC into a scalable enterprise detection framework.
• Architect transaction-focused anomaly detection with features, risk scores, thresholds, and alert
• Develop supervised and unsupervised ML models with measurable business value.
• Apply classification, clustering, forecasting, feature engineering, and anomaly detection.
• Establish model evaluation, calibration, thresholds, and FP/FN analysis.
• Ensure explainability with human-readable reasoning and evidence for anomalies.

🎯 Requirements

• 10+ years in data analytics/data science; 5+ years ML engineering.
• Experience delivering data science or analytics in government environments.
• Python and SQL proficiency for data manipulation and model development.
• Deep ML expertise: supervised/unsupervised, forecasting, anomaly detection, feature engineering.
• Ability to translate model outputs into audit-ready evidence; reproducibility and documentation.
• Experience with transaction-level datasets (financial, procurement, contracts).
