Associate Platform Infrastructure Engineer

📋 Description

• You’ll join the Shared Services and Infrastructure team at impact.com, building platform
• Write production-quality Java code and operate real infrastructure for 600+ engineers.
• Implement infrastructure abstractions and deploy platform services using IaC.
• Operate platform-layer infra: VPCs, compute pools, storage, Kubernetes clusters, and networking.
• Maintain managed pub/sub systems (e.g., Kafka) used by teams.
• Collaborate with senior engineers to design cloud, Kubernetes, and operational solutions.

🎯 Requirements

• Java or similar programming experience with strong software-engineering fundamentals.
• Familiarity with basic network and cloud concepts.
• Comfort with Linux CLI and willingness to learn sysadmin basics.
• Interest in systems at scale, reliability, and production operations.
• Collaborative mindset and eagerness to learn from more senior engineers.
• Bachelor’s in CS/Engineering or equivalent experience.
