Technology R&D Lead Engineer

📋 Description

• Lead design, development, and validation of prototypes and pilot solutions from enterprise problems
• Translate research objectives and business challenges into scalable architectures and prototype
• Build full-stack prototypes using modern frontend/backend tech, APIs, databases, and cloud services.
• Evaluate technologies for business fit, scalability, security, and strategic value.
• Lead build-versus-buy assessments and vendor evaluations.
• Identify high-impact opportunities for R&D investment and prioritize the tech pipeline.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in CS/engineering or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 7+ years in software engineering or related roles.
• Experience delivering prototypes, PoCs, or production-ready capabilities.
• Strong full-stack development with modern frontend, backend, REST/GraphQL, and databases.
• Knowledge of cloud platforms, architecture, Git, CI/CD, and collaborative workflows.
• Experience with Microsoft ecosystem (Azure, Azure AI, Azure OpenAI, Fabric, Power Platform).
