Supplier Development Engineer, Manufacturing (Starship)

📋 Description

• Technical POC for rocket parts and assemblies at suppliers
• Own NPI for new parts and ramp to rate at suppliers
• Improve manufacturability, lead times, and cost
• Root cause analysis and containment with cross-functional teams
• Create and disposition issue tickets with engineering
• Lead containment and supplier qualification efforts

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering
• 1+ years in manufacturing/process engineering or supplier development
• Experience with machining, forming, welding, inspections
• Strong problem solving, communication, and teamwork
• Familiarity with GD&T, PFMEA, Six Sigma, Minitab
