Electrical Design Engineer

📋 Description

• Electrical design for modular containerized data centers.
• Single-line diagrams, load calculations, panel schedules, grounding, cable sizing, raceway layouts.
• Coordinate protective devices and arc flash studies; produce labels and reports.
• Review vendor submittals for UPS, batteries, cooling units, switchgear, MDBs, PDUs, and gensets.
• Support manufacturing partners and deployment teams across time zones.
• Develop clear engineering docs and commissioning procedures.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.
• 3–7 years post-degree experience in electrical design; 2+ years in data centers or mission-critical
• Knowledge of NEC (NFPA 70) and multi-jurisdictional codes; experience with SKM/ETAP or similar
• Proficiency with AutoCAD Electrical and/or Revit MEP; Bluebeam Revu for submittals.
• Experience with UPS, switchgear, transformers, generators/ATS integration; LV distribution.
• Strong written communication and cross-discipline coordination skills.
