Senior Engineering Manager, Security

📋 Description

• Own the security engineering foundation: AI security governance, application security, cloud
• Build with AI leverage from day one to scale a small team’s impact with modern tooling.
• Stay hands-on when possible; balance strategic direction with execution as business needs evolve.
• Secure AI products and embed AI leverage across underwriting, servicing, and software development.
• Own end-to-end security domain: threat modeling, secure reviews, CI security, and governance across
• Partner with teams to design scalable, preventative security that supports rapid growth.

🎯 Requirements

• 8+ years in security engineering, with experience building a security function from early stages
• Proven track record of building and shipping controls, not just identifying problems
• Proficient in Go, TypeScript, Python or similar languages
• Experience building SIEM or SOAR pipelines from log sources through triage
• Deep AWS security knowledge: multi-account IAM, least privilege, and cross-account design
• Experience operating within PCI DSS scope and passing real audits
