📋 Description

• Own accounting operations and lead initiatives in a fast-paced, unstructured environment.
• Manage monthly and annual close, reconciliations, audits, and cross-functional projects.
• Oversee payroll, billing, invoicing, and collections; coordinate tax and audits.
• Define scalable processes, budgets, and operating models for growth.
• Lead internal controls, policies, and procedures; ensure GAAP compliance.
• Collaborate with teams to drive AI-enabled improvements in accounting.

🎯 Requirements

• 8+ years progressive accounting experience; public accounting strongly preferred.
• Experience managing a small accounting team; CPA required; bachelor’s degree in accounting.
• Experience leveraging AI to improve processes; NetSuite experience preferred.
• Strong Excel skills (vlookup, pivot tables, etc.); ability to multi-task.
• Ability to lead audits and coordinate annual tax returns; strong people and advisory skills.
• Knowledge of GAAP (accrual, ASC 606) and sales tax compliance.
