Senior Mechanical Engineer

📋 Description

• Design and analyze hardware for launch vehicle fluid and propulsion systems
• Develop and validate fluid, thermal, and structural aspects of components
• Plan and execute internal qualification tests for developed components
• Conduct trade studies to satisfy system requirements
• Collaborate with partners across the company and iterate on hardware at the factory
• Contribute to the Terran R program with cross-team input

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree (Mechanical Engineering or relevant)
• 5+ years of experience with fluids system component design
• Strong fundamentals in thermodynamics, structures, fluid dynamics, and heat transfer
• Experience with CFD and FEA tools (ANSYS)
• CAD experience with NX, CREO, Solidworks
• Experience designing fluid system pressure components (fittings, seals, valves, regulators) and
