Tax Manager (Indirect)

📋 Description

• Lead indirect tax compliance and reporting for US and international ops
• Manage US sales/use, property, telecom taxes and other non-income tax returns
• Oversee GST/VAT compliance and coordination with tax accounting
• Drive process improvements and automation in tax workflows
• Collaborate with Finance, IT, and external providers
• Support audits and taxability analyses as Nextiva expands globally

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Tax, or related field
• 5-7 years indirect tax experience with emphasis on sales/use, property, telecom
• Experience international VAT/GST compliance
• Big 4 or in-house indirect tax background preferred (SaaS/telecom)
• Strong Excel, ERP (NetSuite/Oracle/SAP) and tax software (Vertex/Avalara)
• Ability to translate complex tax matters into clear business guidance
