Senior Platform Engineer (Developer Experience)

📋 Description

• Lead day-to-day development of the Internal Developer Portal: feature delivery, plugin development
• Build and maintain plugins that surface platform capabilities as self-service catalogue entries.
• Own the portal's component model: how services, APIs, resources, permissions, systems and golden
• Collaborate with Cloud Platform Engineering to design self-service facilities taking developers
• Set technical standards for the DX & Portals team: code quality, plugin patterns, frontend
• Capture developer feedback and drive portal improvements and platform adoption via prioritised

🎯 Requirements

• Software engineering experience with production-grade, high-availability services.
• Strong frontend experience with React, Vue.js, or equivalent; solid backend patterns, ideally Java.
• Familiarity with cloud tooling: Terraform, CI/CD (GitHub Actions or equivalent), Kubernetes, and
• Product-thinking mindset; design around user needs and adoption feedback.
• Experience mentoring engineers; ability to set a technical quality bar.
• Strong technical writing and communication; document decisions clearly.
